Frankie and Mack update....

Frankie arrived safely at his new forever home and had a wonderful time playing sniff butts with his new brother. It was instant rapport between them and they spent the day playing and enjoying each other's company.

The vet exam on Mack was excellent. He is heartworm free and has no broken bones or other serious injuries. His deformaties are congenital and the vet feels that the best thing to do with them is leave them alone. He is happy and pain free if somewhat awkward. He has troubles negotiating steps, but does not let that stop him. His temperment is excellent. He didn's so much as bare a tooth while undergoing some very painful exams and manipulations of his limbs.

Now he only has to pass the inspection of the therapy dog trainer... Keep your fingers crossed.
