I completely lost track of time (early dementia, too? LOL) and was just wondering: Isn't it about 6 weeks since the surgery?
Actually, I do know how to check (VBG), but I'm too lazy and would love to hear how your sweet girl is doing anyway.

Re: Amandasmom, how is Amanda?
Amanda is doing well but she is bored. She goes back to the vet on Tuesday. This morning when I locked her in the bedroom, she started to whine and bark. I've been taking the boys to the park for long walks. I'm thinking of taking Amanda today and just let her walk down to the water/ice and stand there. At least it will get her out of the house. Oh yeah, she has a lovely gate, it's 3 steps and a hop. It's pretty funny to watch. She looks like she is skipping. I did freak out the other night. I felt her knee and I thought I felt a lot of movement like bones or something. It scared me. I e-mailed davet and asked if her leg were broken in 20 places, would she still be putting weight on it? He assured me that it probably wasn't broken and I was just crazy. I checked her knee again and didn't feel anything. So I'm officially crazy. I can't wait to see her x-rays on Tuesday. I hope everything is healing proberly and I can move on to the next phase of rehab. She is so tired of being locked up all day and not allowed to play with the other dogs.

Aw...Amandasmom wrote:Amanda is doing well but she is bored. She goes back to the vet on Tuesday...
That's good news, though, despite the scare.
Not crazy at all, just very observant and concerned, like every loving owner should be.
All fingers and paws crossed here for fantastic x-rays. What is the next phase of rehab?
