java got out

yikes, i always hate it when one of mine somehow escapes the safety and cleanliness of home when i open the front door. this time, a visitor was leaving and left the door wide open on their way out...s i g h.

luckily for me, java had just experienced her first cat nip indulgance about 10 minutes ago and was groggy....i got her back pretty quickly.

visitor was driving away as i was chasing java....dont get me started.

Yikes indeed! Scarey when people don't understand... IMO altogether too many folks still living in the dark ages when even beloved cats were allowed to go outdoors. So glad Java is safe.

Glad you were able to retrieve her quickly. When I was a kid we lost our family dog because my brother opened the door to let one of his friends in and for some reason, the dog bolted out the door and right into the street. The consequences were not good. So I'm glad you got Java so fast and hope it doesn't happen again.
