and had to wait until now because seemesmile hasn't been working for me. Mr. Blue (who is doing great) does indeed have a feline sister. Her name is Carmel, and she's about 8 years old now. She found us 7 years ago. We live in a university town, and she was living outside, thin and scared for about a month, according to some neighbors. I suspect she'd been left by a student. She'd been spayed and front declawed, and I don't understand how anyone could just let her go....GRRR! I was sitting outside our apartment reading one night, and she came up, really hungry for some love, and some food. I didn't have any cat food, of course, so I went inside looking for something to feed her. The only thing I had that was at all suitable was some cheese and a can of clam chowder soup. I picked all the clams out of the soup, and brought them outside for her. That was all it took to win her heart over. My husband was out for the evening, and when he came home he fell under her spell, too. She and Mr. Blue get along great! They have these "love fests," in which she will rub herself under his chin while he's sitting. They then sniff noses, and I've seen them give each other little kisses. As soon as they catch me watching, they spring apart, Carmel bats Mr. Blue on the nose, and he starts to chase her. I think they're saying something like "Oh no, we can't let the people know we like each other!"

LOL! What cuties and sooo shrewd of them not to let you know they're friends! Thanks for the pic and the chuckle. She sounds like a littler lover! Glad to hear that Mr. Blue is doing great! Sure would love to see more pics of them both sometime, not even necessarily together....wouldn't want to blow their cover!
