Welcome home Doc!!

Post by Tina B and crew »

These were taken with my phone, so they aren't so great. But isn't this a beautiful sight?!

He's dining on fine Italian porcelain tile that I snagged for our bathroom at the Habitat Store for a steal!

I let him get a little snuggle in before I put his cone of shame back on. <3

Darn it...do I have to??

Yes...he is really eating! I got him settled in and took him some food, took his collar off and he went for it! He ate a good bit if it. I only offered him 1/4 can.

They were giving him A/D at the clinic but I only had I/D available (well I have K/D too...ha ha) I hope the I/D is ok.

slvr...he really was ready for some snuggles...poor guy! He's just so precious.

So far so good with Chunk and Lucy. They don't seem to be bothered by his presence. I caught him and Lucy peeking under the door at each other.

This just warms my heart, Tina, I'm so glad he's home safe and sound.

The I/D should be ok for a few days - hopefully VATech gave you instructions on his diet, and when to consider adding more normal food? Remember, he will most likely benefit from a low-fat, highly digestible diet, so if they haven't talked about that, might give them a quick call about it.

I'm so happy to hear the kiddens are doing ok through the door! It's actually one method of early introductions.

I can always get some A/D from my vet if that would be best. She said I could start introducing him to regular food if he showed interest. Since I have the I/D I will feed that for now.
