My first orphan
My first orphan
Occasionally we get some really tiny orphans into the shelter.
I finally decided I better learn to raise one, since they just keep coming
So here is Quincy! He still needs the bottle and still needs to
be pooped and pee'd. It's been quite an experience, he is
getting very active and my hands are stinging from his
tiny toenail scratches
he's got cool markings! Racing stripes!
he can already climb out
of his laundry basket playpen
here he is trying his darndest to get out
of his bedroom

Re: My first orphan
He is adorable! He looks a little bit like Tigger did but I just love those forlorn eyes on him! Good luck with the little one. Looks like you're doing just fine so far. How old is he?
Kitty kisses,
Debbie

Re: My first orphan
I'm not sure on the age, maybe 3/4 weeks? He came in with eyes fully opened and I've had him almost a week now. He is not pooping or peeing on his own yet and he is still wobbly on his feet. But he's strong and very playful, he wrestles with his stuffed bunny and likes the yarn toy and the little ball.

He's just precious, and once you've bottle-fed and raised an orphan, you will turn out to be a cat-woman after all, just wait and see

Re: My first orphan
He's a cutie! I love the pictures. He obviously already has quite a personality.
