Urine Off
Re: Urine Off
I didn't think it was a good idea...but wanted to check...
Re: Urine Off
I just found this product in Target yesterday. I have to double check the box but I think it also has a "as seen on tv" sticker. I purchased it specifically for the black light that was included. That and the bottle was only 20.00. Too bad I didn't read about having to wear protective eye gear when using the black light until I just checked the website now.
Re: Urine Off
REALLY?!?!...The Urine-Off?!?!...black spray bottle?!?!...I paid $24.95 for the bottle and another $11.95 for the blacklight...
I read that the protective glasses are only needed of you use the longterm or on a daily basis...I did not use protective glasses...but then, my prescription glasses have UV protection...and that is what you need the protection for...
I am going to be checking at Target to see if they sell it without the blacklight...

Re: Urine Off
I purchased Urine Gone but don't think there's much of a difference with Urine Off.

Re: Urine Off
I just saw it at CVS for $20 also. I'm thinking on it, but I don't want the black light.
Re: Urine Off
Ummmm, the box says "distributed by NPI, Trevose, PA 19053 ... Black light made in China ... solution made in USA"Traci wrote:Cleo, who manufactures it, I can't find an MSDS on it.
The ingredients read: water, citric acid, proprietary surfactant and odor remover blend, fragrance, preservative.
Wasn't there just a conversation here about oranges/citric stuff being toxic??
Re: Urine Off
Cleo, if you don't have a blacklight, it does come in handy...the one I got is battery operated and only about 6" long, so easy to store and carry around into nooks and crannies...
Re: Urine Off
Just thought I'd chime in on the black light and eye protection. Black-light is another term for ultra-violet (UV) light. Exposure to UV rays (black light, sunlight, etc.) increases your risk of developing catarracts, and make cause retinal damage as well. Never point the light toward your face or that of any person or animal. Make sure it is properly shielded when you use it.
I am curious - is this for picking up areas where there is urine that you can't see or is it needed with the product to make it work? Sorry, been really busy and haven't had time to follow the links.

Yes, the light is used to pick up on areas you can't see but suspect are soiled.
I guess that's why they always use an orange plastic sheild on their black lights on CSI.
I may just return it. I didn't find any urine markings, lots of vomit clean ups, but no urine. The main area I wanted to look at with the light was my bedroom, the only room with a rug that I'm seriously considering having removed.
