Thanks! Fixed it. Can you tell I'm tired? I usually go over my posts quite a few times before I publish. Apparently I missed that one. 8)

Update on the kitties....

They all seem to be doing OK on the new diet and change in food. I can see visible weight changes in both Doc and Chunk. Nothing drastic, just a slimming down. I'm confident they are both losing weight. Lucy seems to be holding her own, although she's still demanding to be fed often. I'm not giving in. She's not losing weight. She's just a queen, and a demanding one at that.

Off the topic of my cats....I start a "job" tomorrow. It's not really a job per se but volunteer work. I joined Americorps VISTA! I just completed my training in Atlanta this week and will be working at Feeding America for the next year. I do get paid a living allowance stipend but the next year is going to be a bit tight. It was the best option for me at the time though. Good experience, lots of networking opportunities, and some good "on the job training" in areas I could use. Hopefully it will lead to something awesome in the future! If you don't see me you will know that I'm busy with some community work. Unfortunately there are no opportunities to work with animals in Americorps VISTA - it's all work with non-profits that deal with poverty issues. I know poverty affects animals too, so maybe one day.

Glad to hear the kiddens are all doing well!

Congratulations on the job, and yes, it's a job even if you're not getting salary, it sounds like a great opportunity, and right up your alley!

Thanks Traci. I'm pretty excited about it. And it lets me stay in the geographical area instead of relocating, something that was kind of tough with my mom and the cats right now.

I'll keep a regular update on the cats, with pics if I can. :D

Yes, please, more pics!

And, do you get to stay in your area for the length of the job? I hope so!
