We spent New Year's at the Rocking Horse Ranch in upstate New York and a bunch of the guests were Floridians, skiing, horseback riding and snow tubing!
On New Year's Day we went horseback riding in the early morning, through the woods over fresh snow and through streams......it was one of the best New Year's we ever had.

I do like the snow myself and now that I don't have to drive to work I can laugh at the storms. The only dangerous ones are the ice storms - they can cause major damage and power outages. But give me those big fluffy snow flakes falling silently and sparkling like crystals and I am in awe of nature.

We've had the craziest weather this week in GA...it has been over 70, sunny and gorgeous...the grass is even thinking about going from brown to green. I'd better enjoy it now, because I'm thinking Mother Nature may have a blizzard in store for us in February!
