What a land of interesting contradictions. A land where some people will not slap a mosquito or go out of their way to keep from bothering a monkey, yet some allow thier cattle to drown and others practiced ritual murder as part of their religeon.sweetie wrote:Good going guys you are doing a commendable job God Bless You,not many people take time off to care for our furry freinds. You must have seen Mumbai India in the news in July how the dumb cattle owners left their animals to drown,it was not a tidal wave that they had to run ,and leave those poor animals to perish.God Bless once again.

It's the different religions. Jains will not kill an ant or mosquito. But Muslims for example ususally don't like dogs and can be cruel. Hindu's and Buddhists are fairly gentle with all living beings but don't have strong feelings for or against - it's all Karma, whether you are healthy or sick, rich or poor, live or die, is what you are meant to experience according to your Karma. So they won't make much of an effort. And anyway you will be reborn, so death isn't seen as something THAT tragic.
Well, this is very simplistic (maybe Sweetie will correct me?), but you get the drift.
Did the Rita rains affect you?
