Scents of fall? Now, I really can't wait!!

I understand the creepy feeling etc, but it's not unusual for people to want to verify to make sure a request is legitimate. I too, prefer to verify these things if I donate for some cause, and another thing, most people know that paypal can be disputed if necessary (I know it isn't a total safeguard for people, but it's one method of garnering some amount of trust), your chipin page has a paypal payment option.

Tambrey do you have a link to the reddit post?

Traci...here is the link for the reddit page

http://www.reddit.com/r/Assistance/comm ... _gwen_cat/

it is weird...when I am logged in on my account there, I can see it, but if I log off and look at it, it shows it has been removed....

However, it is also posted in this thread, and it IS still there

http://www.reddit.com/r/cats/comments/1 ... _for_gwen/

I have also shared it on my FB page and others of my friends have shared it..so it is making he rounds and I am not giving up hope yet!!

Can you reset the chipin page.....or start a new one and we will change the link in he posts?

I can see both links, one is (your) comments to the original link and the other is the original link. There is a notation "removed" here and there, I don't know why (I'm not very familiar with reddit).

If you're comfortable with it, Cleo, continue your chipin page, you don't have to provide any information you're not comfortable with, but can verify privately if someone requests. I would also understand if you weren't comfortable with it, it's hard keeping private information...private.

Cleo...I got to this a little late, but it would have been tough for me to contribute right now with all that we are going through with Chunk. I hope that you are able to sell enough on your Etsy page to be able to get the surgery for Gwen. I'm thinking about doing something like that myself because our account has taken a huge hit with all of Chunk's vet visits. Just today I was told his visit and diagnostics would be close to $500...more if they find anything. I will be sure to share your Etsy shop with my FB friends!

Passing around the Etsy link is fine. This way if something interests someone, it's a legitimate sale. Thanks.

Gwen woke up out of anesthesia fine. Surgery went well. The vet removed the tumor, her nipple and a wide margin of fat around the area. We won't have pathology results until Tuesday. I can pick her up later today and administer pain meds if needed.

I can't wait to hug her and kiss her and tell her how much I love her and how much of a brave kitty she is. I always felt she was, especially the way she took care of her kits when I found them all.

Thanks everyone!

Gwen (last year)

Here's praying the pathology is negative!!

She is such a beauty, it's easy to see how special she is, what a little trooper! I'm glad your vet let her go home today, and I do recommend you give pain medication as your vet advises - please make sure she has a relatively quiet area to rest tonite.

Hang in there!
