Tina B's furkid pic thread!
Re: Tina B's furkid pic thread!
My phone doesn't take decent pics, least of all, moving cats!
I'm not up to speed on the new phones and their technology, so I'm going to be jurassic for as long as possible (plus, I can never seem to justify the costs, plans, etc)!

Just some updated photos of my kitties. I need to check the settings on my camera - these came out way too yellow (part of that is the yellow sheet I have on the bed) and way too dark! I will try to get better ones when I can get the darn cats to stay still again!
Chunkadunk - badunkadunk!
Chunk and Doc sharing space on the bed! Chunk is saying "I'm NOT going to look at him..I'm not, I'm not, I'm not!"
Doc-a-roo!
He wanted to come close to the camera and I kept telling him to stay still and pushing him back. This is the look I got
Hiding from each other...Doc likes to hide in here and jump out at whomever decides to walk by.
Lucy wants nothing to do with those boys. She's sleeping under my sewing table.

Thank you for all the pics, I've been waiting to see everyone again!!
Maybe I never saw it before, but Chunk also has those gorgeous emerald eyes, so beautiful!
I love the pics of the boys together, I know Chunk is maybe a little hesitant, but in time, I'll bet they both do well together.

Yep, they just are not presenting me with a lot of opportunity to get pics of them together. But Chunk has been hanging close to Doc when he's not being an *beep* toward Lucy. Tim just found them in the kitty beds that are in front of the window - Chunk in one, Doc in the other. They are about a foot apart. Of course when I got the camera Doc moved. Go figure. Just saw Lucy go over to Doc twice and head butt him with her signature "you are SUPPOSED to groom me when I do that" head butt. Doc once again looked at me like "what the heck?!"
I think the presence of the "lost kitty" (some other friends of mine have come to call him Mr. Precious - long story short I have a friend in New Zealand who joked that she would take him off my hands and I said "sure, if you pay my air fare and we time it around the Wellington premiere of The Hobbit, you have a deal!") is upsetting Chunk a bit. He's been more persistent in his pursuit of picking on Lucy since Thanksgiving night. I have lots of people sharing his photo online for me.

I was lounging in the chair reading with Lucy curled up on my lap and I fell asleep. When I woke up this is what I found.
I think she was quite comfortable!

Re: Tina B's furkid pic thread!
Lucy and Doc were pretty excited about having the windows open today! (yes it is that warm)
But then Lucy decided she didn't want to sit next to Doc and Chunk took her place:
Then they all three tried to cram into one spot in front of the door. Chunk gave up and moved before I could snap the photo (Yes that is cat food stuck to the baseboard...I clean it regularly but apparently I have messy eaters)
Don't let Doc fool you. He's been behaving like a royal butthead toward both Chunk and Lucy today. I think a big part of it is his confinement and his energy just builds up. He seems to calm down after being out for a while. I think the confinement after each chemo session kind of throws a wrench into their process of working things out. It is funny because when he picks on Lucy, Chunk goes to her rescue and intervenes. He's like the big brother that says "you can't pick on her, that's MY job!" Why can't I just have cats that like to cuddle?

Out of my crew which includes 3 litter mates and their mama and 2 brothers from another litter, no one likes to cuddle with each other either. My precious angel Simon used to snuggle up to his sisters now and then but for the most part, they wouldn't have it.
Yet to come and cram themselves in every one of my nooks when I'm sleeping they can do. The other night I had such a headache and my legs were cramping that I almost got up and went on the couch but realized within 10 minutes, they'd all follow and cram me there.
On a Nyquil fueled night though I don't mind.

Re: Tina B's furkid pic thread!
Yea, I've never had any cuddle kitties, at least not that would cuddle together, except my daughter's cat Khanada and my cat Gizmo. Otherwise we've always had one cat that tormented another cat and it has almost always been my dilute torties that were the target.
But that's cats...as long as the scuffles are not the knock down drag outs we use to have with Gizmo and Frodo I'm happy!
BTW...this is the "I'm sulking" stance. They just got in trouble for not nicely sharing the space in front of the window and instead proceeding to get into a boxing match. All I said was "Oh you two stop it! You can share the space nicely!" I love the posture they both made...like they really knew they were in trouble.
