she just had gunk in her eyes...yellowish "matter" that would make her eyes sticky, so I would soak them with warm water on a cloth and wipe the goop out and then she could open them....
a round of antibiotics took care of all that...but Mom still refused to take her inside because of her two doxies...and when that was going on...it was still early fall and the weather was nice...so Mom left her outside with her mamma...and at that time...we had SWORN no more

Ok, you mean like a compress. Ok. Right?
How old is she now? If she's at least 12 weeks (she doesn't look much older than 10-14 weeks but pics can be deceiving), you should probably get her tested for FELV/FIV. At the appt, vet can double-check her eyes and pupil response.

she is about 3 months old if I remember right....and yes.....a compress...just a warm cloth over her eyes to soften/moisten the crusty stuff then wipe it away....then off she would go to play! She never "acted" sick, but then we know most often cats don't....
I do need to get her tested, although so far (cross fingers) we have been fortunate that all of our ferals and Mom's have always tested negative...Bud was our only ever positive one...and he came here as an adult stay from somewhere else....and never bred with anyone or spent time with the ones outside much....and all of mine indoors had been vaccinated
