It's been a while since you've posted....how many other cats have been spayed/neutered now? Are the first three doing ok? Any after that?

I only ended up taking in the 2 girls to begin with....Mist was no where to be found....the girls are doing great...I check their bellies every day and the vet did such a fine job stitching them up...small stitches, no big ends on knots, no bunching of the skin...no way for them to be a bother while healing...

Then I took the 2 most active males in...I was able to get Mist and also Sable...when I picked them up, it was a different vet who did them, the woman there...she said they did great, she would not have guessed they are from a semi-feral colony and would make great housepets after their testosterone is worn off...Mist did have ear mites so she cleaned his ears well and I cannot remember which meds she used, but she said it would last for a month...they are both healing well too and are suddenly VERY lovey and want to snuggle and curl around feet...and no fighting from either of them at all...

Next up will be 2 more girls in another week or so...probably Tux and one of the calicos...they were too busy for me to get the next set scheduled...but things are going well!!

Now to start finding homes for the ones that are fixed!!

That's good to hear. I remember doing a chipin fundraiser when my Molly needed an echocardiogram. However, I exchanged my handcrafted stained glass paw prints in return for each donation of 10.00. It helped a lot for that test .. now to just make 10,000 more to pay off the credit card that's been covering cat care since day one.
