Here are a few pictures. The first two were taken two days ago. THe third was taken yesterday. The fourth and fifth were taken this morning.
Mr. Dawg sitting by the back door.
Bernie attentive.
Ginger and Ivory eyeing a squirrel. Please come down and play with us Mr. Squirrel they say. ...
Sweet Pea has an elevated white count and other indicators that she has some type of infection, The problem is she doesn't show any other signs of illness and we have anything teling us what is wrong. More tests are being taken and samples are being sent to a lab. In the meantime she is on anti biotics. and we are watching for signs of a problem. She is old, so we are concerned.
This last picture I tried to get all the dogs in. Inky's head is barely in the picture to far left and Sweet Pea is behind Ebony going into the dog house. Ginger is behnind Mr. Dawg and you have a rear view of Apache by the fence. I was hurrying up to take the picture before Bernie came too close and wouldn't be in the picture. If only I had swung the camera bit more left. .....

First, make sure Sweet Pea isn't showing subtle signs of illness, even if they are as mild as slight anoreixia, slowness, change in stools, attitude and behavior, change in routine, etc.
Elevated WBC can also be indicative of allergies, inflammation, dehydration, as well as bacteral or viral infections, so this should be taken into account when determining underlying cause.
