2 cats??

Me and my wife adopted a 8week old russian blue, she is now 7 months old. she has been front declawed, spayed and has all of her shots. we noticed she seemed lonley, so last night we adopted a 5month old to keep her company. both cats seemed to be scared at first. the 5 month old last night just went and hid where ever she could. and this morning she was still skiddish. the 7month old just watches her, and yes there have been some hissing going on but no actual fightning or biting. my question is will these cats start to get along soon with me and my wife gone during the day? i wanted to help the new 5month old out because she doesnt have a home and i just want her to be accepted by my 7 month old, plus i felt my 7month old was lonely during the day. anyone with answer's please help me, i would appreciate any info.

Did you follow any kind of introduction guidelines? Some of the tips in this link will help you. It's a process that can't be forced, it must be gradual, but will work out.
