2 new cats

I picked up two new (rescue) cats yesterday. Named Serenity and Mae. They hid for a while, then snuck around sniffing everything. I was just hanging out with them this evening when the crazies hit. Apparently Serenity is what they wish she was. She was running around, skidding around corners, peeling out on rugs, over and under the furniture and me! I had forgotten what young healthy cats are like. I laughed my b*tt off. It was so healing to remember my Honey doing that before she got sick. I am so grateful that she is free now to run and get crazy too. I'm also so happy to be remembering the good stuff. I'll post pics when I can get them to sit still.

Do you still have the male kitty? Have the new kitties seen your vet yet?

The male kitty was a foster. He went to the shelter and was adopted. I only had him because he was injured in the eye and head and it had gotten very infected.

Yes, my new ones have seen the vet. She said they are fine, except for mild ear mites. She gave me some medication for that, and an ear wash, then sent them home. We'll be going back in a month for a recheck. Thanks, Traci.
