What is it about dogs and clean floors?

Post by k9Karen »

I just finished mopping the kitchen floor. I have a fairly long kitchen and while I was mopping the far end, I looked up and all three were lying at the other end watching me - good thing I'm not the paranoid type :) . As soon as I finised that part, I went to do the laundry room - they got up as a group and stood in the door as I mopped that! Then, they all went to investigate the area of the kitchen that had just been mopped - just what I needed - 3 sets of pawprints to clean up  ! I finished up the rest of the kitchen (have to do it this way so I don't "paint" myself into a corner and kept having to chase them out. I think I must have re-mopped almost every area at least 3 times.

I swear, they're worse than children! ](*,)

You have just touched on one of Cheyrl's pet peeves about our crew.

She starts mopping. The dogs watch.

When she is about haveway done they decide it is time to do duties outside.

Shortly after they clamor to come back in.

They immediately dash through the freshly mopped area with their dusty, now muddy paws. ....
