Good dog story...

Post by E's »

This may have been posted already... very cheering item imo and amazing too: the dog shut up in the house, yet knowing one of his humans was in distress!

cool...it is amazing how dogs can sense these things...or maybe shannon's sensitive ears could hear him calling...but at least he was saved...

I just lost a friend to a tractor accident about three weeks ago...but there is no way he could have survived...the bucket fell on him (it was not pinned properly) and cruched his chest...thankfully they said he never knew what hit him...but unfortnuately, his wife was the one to find him when she got home from work :( BUT, also good that at least their sons were in school, and have after school events, and did not get home first...

I had a border collie growing up, she was military trained to sense danger by chemical differences on the handlers body...fear and so forth...and she did her job...I was never afraid when I had Misty Queen at my side...and when I moved away from home, and after my dad passed away, Queenie stuck to my mother like glue...even followed her to the bathroom and laid on the floor...hahaha...

She looks like a great dog, she was smiling and accepting her award.
My husband keeps telling me that of all the Dobermans we've owned, Crystal will be the one to save a life someday.
Somehow I'm not seeing this heroic side of her. My husband really loves Crystal more than the others we've had.
