She is a very pretty dog...
I have friends in Tucson who did rescue for greyhounds...there is a racetrack out there, or used to be...I have not been there in years...but they would take in the "old retired" dogs, or those who did not win the races, and find them good loving homes...
their whole backyard in the middle of town was converted into runs and kennels...the kids had to go play at the nearby park because they did not have a backyard to play in

Also "soft and photogenic" ... the great Lori Ann - a grande dame indeed! I would love to have a greyhound. There is, or was for years n years, a greyhound raceway in Mobile, Alabama... I guess it's still there, as last year the Gulf Coast greyhound rescue group met at a PetSmart here in Greater N. O. I am always tempted but now that it looks like my disability may be permanent, I'll probably have to give up on that idea. Thanks for the pics, Devon
