Hi! I'm Sue, an old-timer here. Does anyone remember me? (Tracy, Debbie, Ron, etc.)?
I've been very busy looking for work as a medical transcriptionist (no luck so far). Anyway, there is a great board that not only covers MT matters but boards on a lot of fun subjects. The one I checked out was "Pets", of course.
A lady there had just lost her kitty and was experiencing a lot of grief, of course. She wrote a wonderful little poem in her post, and I wanted to share it with you. I know it didn't belong in the Health Board and I didn't want to put it in the Memorial Boards for grieving parents. So, I thought I'd put it here. OK, Debbie, Traci? It made me feel better and I hope others will like it too. Of course, it pertains to dogs and other species of pets too - any creature dearly loved.
"Farewell, Master, yet not farewell,
Where I go, ye, too shall dwell.
A moment's time, a little space.
When ye come to where I have stepped
Ye will wonder why ye wept."
I hope the best for all your kitties, doggies and other pets. My three "puddies" (Nikki, Buster and Shadow say "meow". My doggie, Sparky says "woof". (My fish can't talk).
