Started of normal enough then we picked up a doberman pinscher with a chip in it. The dog was lost in Gulf Port Miss and when we called the owner on her cell phone she just happened to be in LaPlace! She picked up her dog at teh sheleter.
It is supposed to rain today. I had the dogs out for a long pre-rain play and pottie session. Fortunately the ground was real dry before the gusher last week and quickly soaked up what didn't run off. Now it is still saturated from that rain so i don't expect it to dry as quickly this time. I took two pictures of everyone outside. (Coco was left inside because we have to bath her right away when she comes outside or she gets a UTI.)
While threatening, the rain still hasn't arrived and we are letting all but Coco outside to run and play and get rid of anything left in them. I will probably bring them in after posting this.

Re: Weird Day
More no rain yet pictures. .... I kept putting the dogs out at every opportunity to make sure we were ready for the rain. .... These pictures were taken around 7:30 P.M. It is now 10:30 and we are going to bed and still No rain.
As you can tell they have lost a lot of enthusiasm about going outside. Too much of a good thing.
As you can tell there was a lot of standing around on the patio. At least for those that didn't turn around and go right back inside without doing anything.
The ones that stayed outside didn't do much more than walk around the yard.
Of course even under these conditions, there is always one who wants to stay outside.
Of course she was comfortably enscounced in a depression in the cool damp mud.

I just love your crew. I count 11 pups, is that right? I think you should have a contest to find all the dogs in your pics. LOL

Re: Weird Day
Actually it is 13 ....
Coco is inside so not in the outside pics.
In the two big group pics, Inky the dal with solid black ears is not in the first one and Sweet Pea, teh little beagle by the fence is not in the second. So each picture has a total of 11 dogs.
