Here's a good story on the canine genome compared to humans

Hello all,

I thought this story was really interesting. I didn't know that humans and mice were closer, in evolutionary terms, than humans and dogs. Nor did I know that dogs were closer genetically! I'll be interested to keep reading about this, and hope that it can help with genetic diseases in both species.
