Nuts to doggies...

Traci- You posted that some nuts are toxic to dogs, but some dog treats have peanut butter in them. Is peanut butter ok? I use that to give Honey a pill sometimes.

I too will put a spoonful of peanut butter into a kong to keep Sammie busy for a while...I have always given them peanut butter...on occassion...not every day...

I use peanut butter also,,,,I think it is macadamia nuts which are harmful..don't know why.. My dogs are bringing in pecans from our trees...fattening for the dogs and painful to step on, but generally safe.

Macadamia nuts and walnuts. Peanutbutter is fine.
