i donlt think this is so revolutionqry...we coule always give the first transfusion regardless of type...the second was risky but rqrely need...we, if needed dig a slide qgglutinqtion test but i can;t think of ever having to give a second transfusion becasue with the first one followed by iv fluids usually did the job...i guess this is something big and it will help but will wait and wsee how often it is used.
