was going to condense the info when the article came out...but it is way to long but there is no knowledge on the MLD (minimum lethal dose) and the cause of the toxicity...but anything from a small amount to a large amount can be toxic and the toxicity leads to Acute Renal Failure.....so i guess the best advice is just don't give them any at all.

I have always wondered if perhaps pesticide use may still be a concern. While it may not show on toxicology, wouldn't it be possible for the pesticide to absorb through the membrane of the fruit, and once ingested, it breaks up, thereby making it difficult to pinpoint on toxicology?

My only other theory is fermentation. I'm rambling.

Davet- glad you reminded us...I used to give Honey a few grapes now and then..but haven't in a long time. Will not give her any.
She loves to play with them for a while and roll them around. She also does the same thing with those tiny tomatoes...are they ok?

Bad advice, since most owners don't know what consitutes a "large amount". And since vets are recommending against any feeding of grapes at all, this site needs to update their information.
