Yes we are still dwon down stairs. We will stay there for at least the next 6 weeks until after the follow up x-rays. Want to make sure she is healing properly. If I had to guess, she is doing great, 8 days after surgery and she is walking on the leg about 90% of the time.

That is wonderful! I think your TLC and attention to her recovery needs have made the difference too.

WOW! This is just AMAZING!!! :)

I agree with davet (welcome back, davet!!!), nature IS great!
Except, you would have expected a properly designed ligament arrangement from "her" that wouldn't rupture that easily in the first place.

Did Amanda somehow get used to her new situation or is she on Ace now?

I still can't believe how fast she is healing. Fantastic! :)

Arki, I knew it was you. I thought you would like the hair growing back photo.

Yes she is on Ace. Today I cut the dosage in half because she seems to have lost bladder control. Now she is on about 6 mg twice a day. She's has her staples removed on Monday. She is getting used to staying in the bedroom. I let her sit with the rest of the family for a little while in the living room but she is still up and down and pacing. On the Ace, she will go back in the bedroom with only a little bit of a struggle, then she'll pee on the rug and go to sleep. :(
