MR BLUE....?
MR BLUE....?
Mary- how is he doing...is his bite mark all healed up yet? And how are you about walking him now in that area?

Re: MR BLUE....?
He's doing good momPaws - thanks for asking! The wound seems to be healing up well. He's on antibiotics through Monday, and I'm giving him his epsom salt compress every evening. I'm going to be on watchful alert from now on, a lot more than I ever was before! I've talked with several other dog people, and we've all agreed to form and informal "alert" network; if any dog acts aggressively, we're going to tell the others so they can be watchful when walking by. I've also decided that, every time I see a dog we haven't met, I'm getting between Mr. Blue and that dog. Actually, I'm going to do that with ANY dog we don't know really well. My boss brought in a little bad of dog biscuits to work today for me to give him; I thought that was really nice! His spirits seem good. He's always excited to go for his walks, although he wants to get by that house as quickly as possible. I'm still feeling guilt for him getting hurt. I keep telling myself I couldn't have stopped it; it happened way too fast. The best I can do is to be a LOT more watchful, which I'm doing. Of course, if Honey wanted to come join him for a squirrel and rabbit hunt, I know that would make him feel good (and other dogs from the board)
