Scribs has a small circular mark on her leg, a little smaller than a dime and slightly raised. It looks more like a scrape but odd that it's circular. It was pink the night we noticed it and now it is healing and almost invisible.
Any ideas? It didn't seem to be tender and she didn't lick or bite at it.

Re: What does a "hotspot" look like?
I remembered these links were here when friends called last night about a reappearance of a second hotspot. Thanks jdf for keeping up informed.
Does anyone have a favourite response to an occasional hotspot? I`ve got no experience with my own dogs, and these people went to the vet the first time. It was difficult to treat. They have collars. I know Davet says it will heal. These people sprayed on methyl violet and neosporin spray and it apparently was very irritating to the dog.
