canine viral papilloma

My dog just broke out in 2 spots in his mouth with viral papilloma. The vet said it could take 1-2 months for them to go away. Should I keep him away from other dogs? Any help on the subject would be appreciated.

This is infectious to other dogs ( not to cats aor humans though) so it would be a good idea to keep your dog isolated from other dogs.
