It's Hill's Rx T/D (and Iams/Eukanuba also has an oral care diet). They can be fed as the sole diet or used as treats.

If you read their studies (should be posted on their website), there is, in fact, some evidence that the diet(s) proved to reduce plaque and tarter....other studies have been done by veterinary dental vets that suggest this as well.

However, age, breed, general health status, genetics etc all play a role in the likelihood a dog will develop oral problems over time. CET chews, for example, are another option for dogs as opposed to rawhide chews.

I didn't know what those chews were, so I did some googling. It says they are beefhide...is that the same as rawhide, and are the dangers the same?
