Please don't take dietary measures into your own hands....discuss whatever you hear on the net thoroughly with your vet. Liver diseases are very specific, each carries various symptoms and each dog has individual requirements. Hepatitis is often the most difficult to treat of all the liver diseases because it is so progressive and unpredictable.
I am surprised your vet even mentioned Noni juice to you. This is totally worthless and a marketing scheme, it has no scientific evidence of efficacy whatsoever.

The Noni Juice recommendation doesn't surprise me at all. The vets where I live are very focused on making money, working short hours and driving their Porsches. Over the last 25 yrs. I have tried other vets, only to find the same thing.

I'm so glad she is better. There will probably be more bad days mixed in with the good as she ages, but hopefully there will be more good ones than bad ones. As for the Noni juice - it probable comes in the "it can't hurt' category, and if that's what the vet recommends, you don't have to buy it from him!
