dog had diarrhea and threw up, now won't eat
my friend's dog suddenly had diarrhea and she also threw up...now, she won't eat. what could possibly be wrong with her? They've taken her to the vet but i haven't heard from my friend yet.

Without an age, health history, knowing the environment, it would be impossible to know, only the vet can determine upon an exam. Could be anything from bacterial infection to obstruction to toxin.
