Safe way to rid yard of ticks and fleas....

Hello.....does anyone know of a good way to treat your yard for ticks/fleas that isn't harmful to pets? Maybe some kind of spray or something? Thanks!

I haven't tried this but I've heard from some folks who have and they say it works well - benificial nematodes as discussed at the first link under 'fleas'. The second link is to an online source for nematodes if you can't find them locally.

The Symbio's site has some other suggestions as well.
