Allergies?
Re: Allergies?
If your vet still hasn't accurately diagnosed her allergies vs infection/fungal, etc...it's possible that when she sleeps, her nose/muzzle is touching her infected paws, etc .....if this were a pseuodomona, this is the quickest way to spread bacteria to other parts of the body.

Re: Allergies?
My vet diagnosed her as having allergic dermatitis. In December, he put her on an 8 week course of Clavamox for recurrent chin pyoderma and blisters on her feet. I later found out the blisters were the result of the gardener's fertilizer pellets in the yard.
The chin pyoderma has almost completely vanished when I changed her kibble to a corn free kibble.
So far today, the nose appears to be back to normal. It's a mystery to me.

Re: Allergies?
Crystal's back on antibiotics for 2 weeks.....Baytril this time. He gave her another eye ointment with Dexamethasone (sp?) in it.
He said it's her allergies and I should keep her on the Benadryl.
