Anyway, I have a friend on another forum who had a puppy (can't recall how old she was) that started with diarrhea and then started vomiting. Vet tested for parvo and said it was negative. They treated with sub-q's and antibiotics but the puppy didn't make it, I just found out today. My first thought was parvo...is it possible to have a false negative?

other things that will cause a pup to show these symptons than parvo....bacteria, intussuception (telescoping of the gut) ad infinatum...was a necropsy done???
don't know....I was just concerned that if she brought another pup in and it was parvo that she should do a good cleaning...wouldn't want her to lose another pup
