update on rescued bluetick coonhound

Post by GA Jamie »

We took our little feller to the vet yesterday for an initial consultation and evaluation. He got rave reviews! His legs are fine! Everything checked out well. He weighs 18 lbs. 7 ozs. at 4 1/2 months old. We are going to have a big boy on our hands! Speaking of which, do any of you know where I can view a growth chart? I want to get an estimation of what to expect month by month. Actually, I need to purchase flea control meds but don't want to buy something that will have to be thrown out or replaced before it is finished.

TIA!

i still use frontline plus and get the extra large dog size and then withdraw the pound amount for my dog with a syringe and needle, the crazy glyue the hole...i don;t know of a gfrowth chart...i know there are some around cause i had one in my office but figure they reach their full heigth at about 9 months and then the weight will vary subject to diet, exercise etc etc...some one will come up with a chart and in the mean time i will see if i can resurect the one hi had....blue tics are neat dogs,,they aget spoiled easily but then what dogs donnot
