is fruit ok for dogs?

i have a siberian husky... we were told he likes fruit. is this safe, has anyone heard of this before, and are there certain fruits that could be harmful... any help would be most useful. thanks

no problem...some might cause diarrhea but you find that out and it is transient...i don't think its a good ideaa to give it every day but i had never seen it cause a problem except an occaisional diarrhea...

The only fruits I usually caution against are grapes and raisins. They are thought to be toxic to the kidneys, the last I heard.
