there was a recent writing by Dr.
David Ramey on another site that told of the problem in giving animals . and humans for that fact, Glucosamine and chondroiten---course i wiped out the article but the cruxt of it is if the recipent is a diabetic or a potential diabetic, the glucosamine is a sugar related formula and can drive a diabetic over the charts...so if you decide on your own to give the stuff be sure you get your dog or cat checked for diaabetes before hand--as for yourself---use your own judgement
