stinky shih tzu

I am a new owner of shih tzu. She is my first puppy. Brittan is around 4 months old.. love her to death.. only problem is she seems rather stinky and her coat appears greasy. I comb her every night but an hour later her hair seems crazy. Would adjusting her diet help this or is this just a puppy thing? Thanks for any suggestions.

get a vet check first and see if she has seborrhea...then maybe diet change will help plus baths
