dealing with horrid cold wind along with low temps. I noticed Mr. Blue really didn't want to be out in it yesterday morning, so we kept our walk really short. I also do a whole lot of rubbing his long floppy ears once we get back inside, so they warm up. I feel really bad for a couple of dogs in our neighborhood, who are left out on chains in the yard for lots of time during the day. I don't understand how people don't think their dogs get cold!

I know, Mary, I can't bear to even let her out lately just to go. I would never leave her out for any lenth of time in this cold. But we know that some people are heartless about animals...sadly.
