davet an extrapolated item on microchips

they have found in horses after 5 years where the chip has been implanted in the ligamentum Nuchae, ie ligement of the neck that the chips do not migrate...so if anyone was worrying about their dogs chips migrating, forget it and even if they did migrate how far could they go?????

I've seen very few migrate...even if they do, they usually only migrate over the interscap and downward, never have seen anything that would demand removal.

Having said that, we do scan over the back and chest areas, ya just never know

We had one dog where the microchip was in the upper left front leg. It was supposedly injected in the usual area. .....

the inserter must have done it blind fold cause it would be a real challange to go from the interscapular space to the lag...possible i guess but would have to pass through a bunch of highly sensetive nerve bundles...
