well, not YOURS- but...a friend's dog is going to have foot sugery and the dog didn't do well at all the last time he wore a collar. Told her I would ask you to post your foam collar and how you make it....would appreciate it.

you can buy these , i guess at pet shops, or make ones yourself out of foarm rubber and ace bandages, or tongue depressers...chose your method: or you can even cover with duct tape...

Pardon me, but what the heck is that type of collar for?? It looks dangerous.

it is in no way dangerous...it is soft foam rubber to preven the dog from twisting his (her's) head around to chew on a lesion or rip off a bandage..it is similar to an elizabethan collar but less cumbersome and the dog can walk through doorways and past furniature without banging int to something...maybe it is not displayed properly but it is nothing more that a soft cervical collar to avaoid self mutilation...

Here is the version that you can buy. It has a harness-type strap as well which is nice. I've ordered a couple through NLS although I know Burns can get them as well.

that is where i got one of my pictures from but why buy when you can custom fit for like zilch....
