Karen- found it at HealthyPets.com for $14.30 = 3.85 shipping. They have 2 versions...with and without cortisone. When would you want to use the cortisone version? This will be for preventive cleaning and when her ear gets black and itchy...(but by then she has sometimes scratched it to bleeding) This is chronic in one ear only- the one that flops. I even cut the hair around the ear to give it more air.
She also hates it when I put stuff in her ear..it is a challenge!
Zymox - K9K
Re: Zymox - K9K
I keep both. I mostly use the one without the cortisone since I use it as the preventive or if I catch the infection in time. Once the infection is cleared up, I usually only have to use it once every 10 - 14 days to keep everything in check. Occasionally Allie's ears have another plan, and she gets infected earlier. It's when they 'sneak up on me' (her?) that I usually have to use the one with cortisone. I use that one if the ear gets red and inflamed since it is an anti-inflammatory agent. You can probably get by with the one without the cortisone.
I will warn you that it's a very small bottle. I don't know how big your furkid's ears are, but in larger dogs, I would think it would get used up pretty fast. Allie is a very small sheltie, and a bottle lasts me for quite a while.

Thanks, Karen- she is about the size of a large sheltie..it will be worth the money. Anything to help her with her bothersome ear.
