yeah i did, i checked all of them to see if there is a spot to insert the addy but there is not.
looks like they are put in by admin?
i like to change mine, if it has to be permanent than i have a different one i would like to use.

Well alrighty than.
i guess the other boards like this one, we all have the proper small sized avatar, and the link goes back to the host of the pic, it is not uploaded to the board, and there is not a problem with load time due to the limit of size.

If I may, comments.... Some of those boards you mention are free, or on free hosted servers. Some pay for their hosting and may pay for extra bandwidth. I'm paying for my hosting and this board in itself is a test of my bandwidth. I also maintain another site I'm paying for. The current gallery of avatars I felt was adequate at this time, but I will consider adding more in the future. Graphics and images can take up a great deal of space and file size on a server. Also consider that everytime you view a post, each avatar, each image that someone posts, takes time to load, slowing down the board.

I don't want anyone to be offended because certain people have personalized avatars. The reserved avatars are for those who have been with HFC and CC from creation, and have been long-time, regular posters.

I will discuss this with Jason regarding the options. We will post an update as we decide.

Traci that is cool no biggie, i never realized about the bandwidth thingie.
the other boards are paid and maintained by private owners, these are a nice set up though once you get used to them
thanx for the nice place, i got a bit lost, and will get the hang of where to place the posts!
