repeat messages?

Over the last two or three days i've been getting replied to messages for the same post. As in let's says someone replies to post X and says:
hello... how are you?
I'll get two or three messages leading me to the same, hello how are you reply. And everytime there has been nothing else added to the post...
Is this a problem on my side? Or ... not...?? Hmmm....

Are you referring to actual posts in the forums or private messaging?

What do you mean by getting messages? Do you mean your profile is set to receive responses by email?

yup i set my profile to recieve email replies when i signed up and everything was fine but lately i've been getting 2 or 3 emails for the same reply.

For example for your last reply, i got two emails saying that someone has responded.... to my post... when in fact there has only been one post.

was the posted "edited" by that user possibly? causing the two emails.

i did not change anything a few days ago but did make some code changes today. im not sure what would cause this off hand...will look into it.
