My adorable, loving and gentle cat Eddie (1yr. and 3 mo) was struck by a car on Friday night.
Thankfully he has been dismissed from the Emergency Vet. E.R and is recovering at home, although slowly and painfully.
He has suffered no immediate damage or broken bones, but a lot of head trauma, brusing, lung contusions and stress!
He has been home just over 12hrs and things have not gotten worse, although he still won't eat - but I'm working on that diligently.
Please cross your fingers for my lovely little man (who upon recovery will remain a strictly indoor cat!)
Here is a picture of him as a little guy, only a few months old.
Please cross your fingers for Eddie's full recovery.

I am sending healing thoughts for Eddie. He is precious! Yes, there are too many dangers out there nowadays for our beloved pets to be allowed to roam.

Thank you for your prayers.
Eddie seems to be on the road to recovery but the next few days are crucial. He is eating on his own and seems a lot more comfortable and is starting to come back to his affectionate self. Here is a picture of him on his recovery bed, about to roll around 'purring'.
(hopefully you can see the picture)

Assuming the vet wrap was to put pressure on the leg after an IV was removed, when you brought him home, that wrap can be removed now, if you haven't done so already.
He is a very beautiful boy....please watch him closely and report to your vet immediately if anything worsens or occurs suddenly, no matter how slight.
