Silent Waltz (for Roxy)

Post by jdf »

with echoed breath
with hearts in rhyme

a silent waltz of clouds
in waves of crippled time

I fall into the soul
of your fading eyes

to hold you forever
as our time dies

on this imaginary day
a day of sad goodbyes

But I've got tears coming now, too. It doesn't seem like it's saying much at all, but I think I can speak for all hear and say We miss her, too!

That's beautiful, jdf. You have a way with words. August 7 was the third anniversary of the day Magnum went to the bridge. Now I am having a hard time with deciding on a new job 150 miles away from where he is buried. I feel that Magnum brought me to the place where he died for a reason and that I should stay there.

I can't believe it's been three years since you lost Magnum. Memories have a way of compressing our perception of time.

Wish I knew how to advice you, D, about the job offer. Guess 150 miles would be long commute. I know exactly what you're feeling and wish I had a solution for you.
