Local Cattle Barn Roof Caved in Yesterday

Post by Tambrey »

From all the snow we have had...a local farmer had the roof collapse on his cattle, that were housed in the barn....unlike most around here who are STILL letting them roam in the fields with no shelter in this weather

But this guy had his in what he thought was a safe place...and then this happened...fortunately, our vets were able to get out there and treat the wounded and ended up only having to put one to rest....

Not sure where he is keeping them now...they are market cattle and ready to leave the farm this week...

thanks momPaws....

actually, we ended up with TWO collapses in the area...BOTH afrmers were very lucky as far as loss of cattle goes...however, here is a 3-week events story of one family...the wife was my son's kindergarten teacher and he knows all of their daughters
