Bamm Bamm

My Bamm Bamm is gone...last night we had a wind storm and it must have blown one of the gates open, and I didn't notice it before I let Bamm Bamm out...he got out and was hit by a truck...he died instantly.
My heart is broken...he was my heart. I will never forgive myself for not checking the gates before I let him out. Joy

Joy, I cannot put into words how awful I feel for you, my heart is breaking with you. I know Bamm Bamm is your heart dog, he always will be. Please don't blame yourself about the gate, how could you have expected the wind to have blown it open.

I am SO very very sorry, I hope you can find healing and peace in your heart in knowing that Bamm Bamm knew how very much you loved him, how much you gave to him in life, and that love and bond can never be broken.

I am so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful dog! Please don't blame yourself. Sometimes unexpected things happen and later we think of all the things we could have done different. I have done this countless times myself and it doesn't do any of us any good.

Joy, I'm so sorry. I know how it hurts, but please don't blame yourself - it was an accident. Pebbles is probably feeling your pain as well as her own. I know it'll be very hard, but maybe if you can try to be upbeat around her it will help her. (And you too by seeing that she is happy).

Thank you...Karen - I showed my hubby your post this morning and we decided to try very hard at being upbeat with Pebbles...it has really helped...she's trying to play with us...I think she's trying to make us happy too.
